The Goreville Masonic Brotherhood of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons,Saline Lodge #339 was granted a charter on October 3, 1860. The first floor of the original building, called "The Hall", was also used as the meeting place for the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The Masons occupied the second floor until a fire destroyed the building in 1944. The new building, located at 215 S. Broadway was completed in 1950. The Masons used the second floor while the first floor was the home of Van Natta and later Meredith Funeral Homes. In June 2003, Anna Scheidt of Goreville took possession of the Saline Lodge building and began converting it into the antique mall now known as Wolf Creek Antiques and Crafts.
